Insert a calendar appointment link in an email campaign
This article shows you how to add a calendar link for Microsoft Outlook, but the process is very similar for other providers. If you do not know how to save an .ics file from outlook please check Microsoft support articles for instructions.
1. Create and save your event
To create and save your event invite:
- Create your event in your Microsoft Outlook calendar.
- Open the event in your Microsoft Outlook calendar and select File > Save As, ensure Save as type: is set as iCalendar Format (.ics file)
- Select Save.
2. Add your event to an email campaign
- While creating or editing a campaign in Drag & Drop Editor, select the text or image you'd like to link to the .cis file.
This could be something like Add to your calendar. - Select the Link drop-down menu, then select Link to a document.
To upload your calendar invite, select Show document manager.
- Select CHOOSE FILE, select your calendar invite, and then select UPLOAD.
- You must close out of the document manager by clicking the X, top right, to go back to the Link manager.
- Under Select a document, select your calendar invite that is now in the list.
