Use the image manager

Upload, download, store, and edit your images.


Access the image manager

There are two ways to access the image manager:

Directly in the app

To access the image manager directly in the app, go to Content > Images.

While editing a campaign, page or form

To access the image manager from Drg&Drop Editor:

  1. In Drag&Drop Editor, select Build in the left-side menu.

  2. Expand the Images section.

  3. Select MANAGE.




View images in the image manager

You can choose to view all images, images used in a specific campaign, or recently uploaded images in the Image manager.


Select a view

There are two ways to view your image files in the image manager:

List view

List view allows you to select a column title, such as name, width, height, size, and uploaded. You can filter by image name in alphabetical order, ascending or descending. Image width, height, and size can be filtered numerically in ascending or descending order. Image uploads can be filtered between most recent or oldest upload date.

Select the Ctrl and L keys on your keyboard at the same time to show the list view.

Thumbnail view

Thumbnail view allows you to use the slider to adjust the size of the thumbnails. Move the slider left to reduce the size and right to increase it.

Upload new images

To upload new images:

  1. Select UPLOAD IMAGE.

  2. Choose the image or images from your device.

  3. Select Open.

Select the Alt and + keys on your keyboard at the same time to start the upload of an image.

We keep the same image name when you upload your image from your device to the image manager, although we might make minor changes to remove special characters. You can rename your images once they are uploaded.

Use the image manager toolbar

Use the toolbar to preview and edit your images.

Preview images

To preview a full-sized version of an image, select the image and then the Preview icon.



You can also double-click the image in the Image manager.

Rename images

To rename your image, select either the image name or the Rename icon.



Crop images

  1. Select the image you want to crop.

  2. Select the Crop icon.

  3. Adjust the the cropping tool by dragging the circular corners or drag the rectangle to another area of the image.
    You can also resize the cropping area by using pixel dimensions; enter them in the available boxes and select the Enter key on your keyboard.



  4. Select SAVE CROPPED IMAGE.

  5. Select Overwrite existing image to replace the current image, or select Save as... to save the crop as a new image. Rename the image.

  6. Select SAVE.

Edit images

To access the image editor, select the image you want to edit and then the Edit icon.


The Image editor has ten features:

  • Transform
    This is a great way to adjust image size while not ruining its quality.

    • Crop your image by choosing a custom size or choose from our default sizes.

    • Resize your image by using the Lock Resolution feature.

    • Rotate or flip your image.

  • Filters
    Choose from a wide range of filters to get the effect and tone you want.

  • Adjust
    Adjust the brightness, saturation, and contrast of your images.

  • Focus
    Find and apply a focus effect.

  • Text
    Apply text to your image and style it.

  • Text Design
    Make your text stand out by selecting and colouring a text design.

  • Stickers
    Use emoticons and shapes to personalise your image.

  • Brush
    Draw freehand on your images.

  • Frames
    Apply a frame around your image.

  • Overlays
    Choose an overlay to give your image a special effect.

To save your changes, select OK. The Image name panel appears so you can name your new image. Select APPLY when you're done.



Add alt text

To add alt text to an image:

  1. Select the image.

  2. Select the Alt text icon in the toolbar.


  3. Add your desired alt text in the Description of your image field.

  4. Select APPLY.

The alt text you add in the Image manager is retained when you use the image in a campaign.

You can edit the alt text of an image separately within a campaign. This does not affect the stored alt text in the Image manager copy of the image.

Manage your image storage

The Image manager supports unlimited folders and nested folders.

Create a new folder

To create a new folder, select ADD A NEW FOLDER.

Select the Alt and n keys on your keyboard at the same to create a new folder.

Organize your folders

You can drag folders to nest them inside each other, or drag them to the Recycle bin if you want to get rid of any.

Rename a folder

  1. Double-click the folder name.

  2. Enter the name you want.

  3. Press the Enter key on your keyboard, or select another area in the Image manager.

Delete a folder

To delete a folder from the image manager, drag the folder you want to delete into the Recycle bin.



Any images inside the folder are added to the recycle bin. Deleted folders can’t be recovered.

Organize your images

Images can be dragged from one folder to another.

To select a group of images, either select and drag your cursor over the group of images, or, hold the CTRL key on your keyboard, and select each image with your cursor.

Delete an image

To delete an image, you can drag it to the Recycle bin, or

  1. Select the image.

  2. Select the Remove icon on the toolbar.



  3. Select OK to send the image to the Recycle bin.

To recover an image from the recycle bin:

  1. Select the Recycle bin folder.

  2. Select and drag the image or images you want into an image folder.

To remove an image from the recycle bin:

  1. Select the Recycle bin folder.

  2. Select the image or images you want to delete.

  3. Select the Remove icon.

Images removed from the recycle bin can’t be recovered.

Search for images

To search for an image, enter part or all of the image name in the search bar.



You can also search for images based on when they were uploaded. To do this, search by the first three letters or the full name of a month followed by a year. For example, jan 2014 or january 2014. A temporary folder appears that contains your search results.

Download images

You can download images individually or in bulk.



To do this:

  1. Select the images you want to download. To select multiple images, you can either use CTRL on your keyboard or select and drag with your cursor.

  2. Select the Download icon.

  3. If you select a single image, it is immediately downloaded to your device.

  4. If you select multiple images, you see a message to inform you that the download is being prepared and can be accessed from the exports area when ready. Select GO TO EXPORTS to access the .zip file of downloaded images, then select Download.

You can select OK to close the message and access your download at a later time. To do this, expand the User menu and go to Settings > General > Exports.
